OUR STORYFace by Nertila started more than 15 years ago with Nertila doing what she still loves most - helping women feel beautiful without making them look like someone else.
Her approach has always been the same: skin should still look like skin, hair should last, and a bride should recognize herself when she looks in the mirror.
Over time, Face by Nertila became a team of makeup artists and hairstylists who share that same approach. Every artist understands that being part of the wedding morning means more than doing beautiful work. It means being prepared, staying on schedule and bringing a calm energy into the room.
Today, we work with brides throughout Metro Detroit, Northern Michigan and beyond. The Studiō in Berkley is where we meet our brides, hold their Previews and take the time to get every detail right before the wedding day.
No matter which FBN artist is in your room, the goal is the same: for you to feel like yourself - only more confident.

“After more than 15 years behind the chair, the part I still love most is watching a bride look in the mirror and recognize herself - only more confident.
I built Face by Nertila around that feeling. What began with me has grown into a team of makeup artists and hairstylists who share the same approach to beauty and the same respect for the wedding morning.
To me, beautiful work is only part of the job. How we communicate, how prepared we are, how we treat people and whether a bride feels genuinely cared for matter just as much. That belief shapes who joins our team and how we show up for every wedding.
Today, I set the artistic direction for FBN, mentor our artists and make sure the standard behind my name is reflected in every bride we serve.”
